From San Francisco and points south on northbound Highway 101
- Follow U.S. 101 north and then switch to I-80 east, and take it across the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge
- Stay left as you get off the Bay Bridge and take I-80 east heading to Berkeley & Sacramento
- Exit I-80 onto University Avenue (Exit 11)
- Continue east on University Avenue for a few blocks
- Turn left onto San Pablo Avenue and the Adult School will be on your right after a few blocks
- Turn right into the Berkeley Adult School parking lot
From Oakland, Hayward or San Jose on northbound I-880
- Stay in left center lanes on I-880 when you reach downtown Oakland
- Exit I-80 east (to Berkeley)
- Exit I-80 at University Avenue (Exit 11)
- Continue east on University Avenue for several blocks
- Turn left onto San Pablo Avenue.
- After three blocks, the Adult School will appear on your right.
- Turn right into the Berkeley Adult School parking lot
From the East Bay on westbound Highway 24
- Merge onto I-580 W via EXIT 2B.
- Take the University Ave exit, EXIT 11, toward Berkeley.
- Continue east on University Avenue for several blocks
- Turn left onto San Pablo Avenue.
- After three blocks, the Adult School will appear on your right.
- Turn right into the Berkeley Adult School parking lot
From the East Bay on westbound I-580
- Exit I-80 East (to Berkeley & Sacramento)
- Exit at University Avenue (Exit 11)
- Continue east on University Avenue for several blocks
- Turn left onto San Pablo Avenue.
- After three blocks, the Adult School will appear on your right.
- Turn right into the Berkeley Adult School parking lot
Via BART
Nearest BART stations: North Berkeley Station
- Take BART to the North Berkeley BART station. Walk about five blocks west to San Pablo Avenue and then a block or two north to the Adult School.
